What a great film. I openly cried through 50% of it. Difficult raw emotions that can never find true closure except in the way it played out here. A true marvel of the human experience even in the shadow of a tragedy. Only complaint was the one parent's ignorant gun control stance which I understand the motive but addressing a symptom NEVER, EVER cures the disease. Guns have been around for over 200 years these events have not been happening for 200 years. There is absolutely no correlation. However if you want to see the actual correlation nobody wants to address it's actually social media. Kids have no business on social media AT ALL. Period. None. They also have absolutely need for a smartphone. Until we come to grips with those realities these realities will continue to occur.
@lifesanswers oh look a moron whining about people who might be concerned about DEI which has no basis on believing that minorities should be excluded from anything. Perhaps you should learn what DEI is before you run your ignorant mouth. When you cast the best minority that is racism. When race is a factor in casting that is racism. When you promote someone or give them advanced standing in something it's racism. Hope that helps your puny brain. So no I don't want DEI little mermaid redone just for the sake of casting a black person in the role. That is not racism that is DEI. You are a profound ignoramus.
