As a former heroin and meth, and we'll every other kind of drug addict; I personally love it when people say two things about this movie. 1) teenagers should see it to stop them from ever thinking of using. I watched it as a 17 year old and still used. As did many from my age group. 2) that drug addicts should see this as if what is portrayed isn't a lived reality each day of our addiction. The people who say these things while meaning well I'm sure are unqualified to make such comments having most likely never stuck a dart into their arm to inject any drug! Drugs are bad and ruin lives but this movie like many don't give the raw truth of it a proper platform. If anything I've seen does it would be "Heaven Knows What." That movie is the only one that ever beyond watching an episode of "Intervention" has ever portrayed drug use in a real non-hollywood fashion. You want to stop kids from drugs spend time with them, get them in community projects, sports and protect them from abuse, abuse is the main reason most of us use not smoking pot as the government likes to pump.
