Ultimate challenge of how long you make it, till turn this off. This is saddest and pathetic cringe fest since last scary movie. Very obviously a desperate cash grab. The "jokes" are super lazy and dated, maybe 10 y o will find them funny. We know he have financial trouble after divorce. But dude just not talented enough to produce quality anymore. Needs to grow up with time, adapt. These jokes would be funny two decades ago, exactly when Ali-g was a thing. Now it's just super cringe.

There very few things that worked in this movie. In first 20mins when monster in not seen, following cool sets with destruction of city and townsfolk was pretty nice and immersive. Got the pretty dense atmosphere. But once monster is revealed it goes downhill fast. It was too annoying to sit thru all movie, so I started to skip to just action parts. Annoying because of bad directing and acting. Every character doesn't act like normal humans, they make stupidest decisions ever. It also have that thing we see on lot of asian movies - where subtitles says simple 4 word sentence, but actor is screaming nonsense for 15 seconds. Idk if that's how asians talks, how their vocabulary works or smth. For us it comes off as laughable overacting. Oh yeah and cgi is insanely bad.

Thomasin McKenzie was only good thing in this movie. The whole sets, costumes and casting was super lazy done. Nothing looked medieval authentic looking, everything looked fake, clean and modern looking. Once I saw supposed peasants running around in perfect clean clothes with broccoli hair, I was out.
