yeah I watched this because there was nothing else too watch. Pleasantly surprised, I don't know why people are saying it's a waste? We must have watched completely different movies. I liked it despite it being predictable annnd then the curve ball came and I was kind of wowed. *shrug* it's worth a watch.

if you look past the glaring issues it's not all that bad - it's like it was a high school project, but there are a few face palm moments. Like the first one being able to pass multiple people without being seen to go to different levels in the building. Or the kid who's "locked in his room" but you can clearly see that he could have unlocked it from his side of the door anyway lol. The twist was quite amusing though.

Anyway, great quality. 1080 was going quite a bit slow and I only had a limited amount of time to wait or watch the movie so I had to grab 720. That being said, 1080 is going to be worth the wait afterwards. I was initially looking for a few things in particular. The best is probably JEJ reprising Mufasa. I think Timon was over the top trying to sound gay. A few of the hyena's were cast poorly, they didn't or couldn't sound menacing if they tried (originals were wayy better there unfortunately) Apart from that it's just a flick you gotta watch yourself. I will note however I was sad that it didn't have the fun side the original had like when the hyena's are after simba in the elephant graveyard. So it did loose a bit of it's spunk and fun, for a more serious type feel.
hmm how to comment this one lol. in the science community, this movie is like the geology of sciences. There's some that are going to like it and wonder why everyone harps on it, and then there's going to be the main take back that it's not a real science. LOL.
