If you're here for entertainment, ignore all the negative reviews. All the negative reviews are because of 2 issues: 1. Woke people don't like it when movies portray sharks as villains. They may have a good reason as sharks are being considered major threat to human beings are being hunted down. But again if you're here for entertainment, then this shouldn't concern you. You're not supposed to believe sharks are evil to enjoy this movie. Duhh!! 2. Nerds have found some scientific inaccuracies in the movie and they're upset about it. Personally I'm an Electronic engineer, so I do understand basic physics, but when I'm here to enjoy a movie, I don't calculate sh!t like atmospheric pressure and dive dynamics. It is a fiction. If you're really worried about scientific inaccuracies, go watch a documentary. All in all it's a fun thriller and anyone who's looking for a fun thriller should definitely watch this.

Alright so I'm one of those people who hate when people give a moderately decent movie bad rating just because of it is against their agenda or beliefs or just because it is not up to their high mark. But this one is none of that. The story and plot is the most stupid and unpredictably predictable that I have to wonder if the writer is trolling the viewers.

Whether you like it or not really depends on the level of your expectation. Personally I'm tired of all those slow burn art-house elevated horror that usually get high ratings from critics. So for me, this fast paced horror with no lessons, agendas, messages or other woke propaganda bullsh!t was a fresh breath of air (as fresh as a twisted rotten flesh eating zombie movie can give)

Is it any good?
