I turned 30 the year of this release, that's when I saw the film for my only viewing until now. I was so baked, munted, smashed, or as we like to say in Australia, stoned, that all I can recall is watching John Travolta finally have fun in a role post Welcome Back Kotter or Saturday Night Fever. I am that old I remember his FIRST gig and his biggest gig that decade or of course Pulp Fiction which is up there with SNF for pure Travolta goodness and that as Michael our errant Archangel, he brought a level of human gravitas to this particular role that was perfectly balanced off against the ovet comedy. I love this film and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it if you want a good film that's well acted, well scripted, well directed and where the cast truly form an ensemble around the nexus of Michael then this one is worth the time of watching. I am going to enjoy another stoned viewing in a few minutes, thankyou very much.
