Can someone tell me if the French subtitles are hard coded? I wouldn't want to overlay it with English subtitles even if I'm able to find one.

This movie has aged quite well. It's a shame they never made a sequel and now we're getting a new series. This movie does a lot of things better than the original which is expected considering movie making has generally improved compared to the 80s & 90s, I the og was too robotic even when he regained his memories, took revenge on those who almost murdered him but didn't take steps to reunite with his kid, this one's an improvement, the story behind his 'accident' was also better in my opinion. He moves faster and doesn't just stand there getting shot while taking out the bad guys one by one so that's an improvement and the retractable helmet that makes it possible for us to see his expression throughout the movie ??. Solid watch, better than the OG in my opinion & I say that as someone who grew up watching the OG & absolutely loved it.
