The best Aki Kaurismaki movie? I believe so, with its hilarious take on La Boheme - filmed in painterly black-and-white. It still stands up thirty years after winning a clutch of international awards. Very, very funny.

Only a few "punk" record labels have survived, but "A Fat Wreck" tells about a band (NOFX) and label "Fat Wreck Chords" that achieved commercial success. It's a great story.

It was fresh when it was first released, but Altman's work can be spotty.

Fun movie, with a hilarious, unexpected climax.

This is frightening and immensely funny at the same time. At times, you're actually wondering how the movie can be so good.
