Great animation for all cartoon lovers. Get them all while you can.
Delicious animation from Disney in the 1950s Probably the last of the Disney full length animations with any real charm. The quality of animation deteriorated significantly in the 1960s and onwards.
Hayley Mill's best along with Whistle Down The Wind. Her Disney stuff is rather poor and forgettable - The Parent Trap perhaps her best. The rest of her career is wasted on poor scripts and boring plots.
Better than the original. Sirk's best. Great credits and the end funeral is sublime.
Masterpiece
NOT directed by Joseph Losey
