If a movie about the past has to be made, you can either stick to discovered facts about the era or create a fantasy out of it. This movie went with the latter. It has nothing to do with what Otzi's life may have been like because the concept of family and marriage wasn't in practice back then and the movie is counting on the fact that such practices were existent in the era to tell its story. Its good fun but a load of bollocks.
Battle Royale original was a masterpiece and 'Parasite' is not. Its a great movie but just not a masterpiece. Great story and nice to see some foreign culture on screen. Overall, definitely worth the watch - just not a masterpiece.
Quite a nice story and action bearing some resemblance to Denzel Washington's 'Man on Fire'. Enjoyed it very much!
Story: 2 - Choreography: 5 - Cinematography: 7 cheesy Story whereby the 'go-pro' 1st person camera action was heavily handicapped by the non-immersive "freeze & action" style of choreography (as if they're all scared to hit each other during filming). For example, you will often see the character being cornered left and right but then see her fight all the opponents on the left only - while those on the right casually and patiently wait for their turn to attack thus destroying the 'realistic' (and supposedly immersive) action sequence. There was also a lot of nonsense background story and non-sequential flashbacks which resulted in a rather confusing and fragmented storyline. The dialogues are corny with heavily cliched charaters letting you know that 90% of the producers' attention went into getting the fighting "just right" which they failed to do in my opinion.
Since Vietnam's invasion everyone realized war had become a sick game for arm dealers. If a soldier tells you they went to battle to make a difference, please direct him or her to the nearest library and remind them - Knowledge is Power. The cover picture of this documentary was a picture taken when Nixon (politically funded by a majority consisting of weapons manufacturers) arrested Fonda for carrying vitamins (yes quite literally) in an attempt to disrepute her and the knowledge she was giving to the public regarding that game. Nixon was heavily under pressure to please his political investors and stake holders. Every Vietnam veteran who died to advocate and defend human rights were instead and unknowingly growing the bank accounts of weapons manufacturers with their own lives. So to all veterans who saw friends and brothers die should know that they died for absolutely no reason than to make someone else more money.
