You've Got Mail but mechanics. Got it. Wow, Hollywood really is completely devoid of any creativity.

This whole series has always managed to be surprisingly good for how campy the idea sounds when described. I think it's the fact that the movie is over the top enough that it loops around from cheesy to being cool again. And it also somehow doesn't take itself TOO seriously.

Seeing "anti-christian" makes me want to watch it more, just to see what make someone get so butt-hurt. It's 99.999% of the time some trivial thing taken way out of proportion or context. So I'll be giving this a watch. At the very least it's a decent mindless popcorn flick.

@savedbythebell I'm a Yank and I the only explanation I can come up with is its a retreat to the trenches when you realize you don't have an argument or at the very least a cogent thought to put forward. Everyone just retreats to the bullet points of the trenches and shouts uselessly and we spin the wheels and go nowhere.

9% tomatometer?! OUCH. Almost makes me want to watch it to see why so bad. That's a pretty solid cast even. Must be a ridiculous script or a horror show of a director.

Cage has always just made whatever feels interesting to him. I can respect that, even when the film isn't super awesome amazing. I also respect how into roles he gets. He may not be Gary Oldman who you don't recognize half the time, but he goes all in and I love that too. So I'll give any of his films a watch, and I usually end up enjoying them. Even the really weird off the wall ones like the Wasteland movie.
