Reading about all the people whining about how "impossible it is have smart black people, since they don't invent ANYTHING or contribute to history, blah, blah, blah" is flipping hilarious. Probably the same ones that dress up for Star Wars movies and think Middle Earth is a real place full of no one but "white people". LOL Hidden Figures is a very good movie that simply shows how some black people did some crafty calculations that allowed space stuff to take place. Though, I can see why some white people would be salty, since the movie takes place in the fifties and showcases the real hatred for non-white people blatantly displayed back then. So, yeah. I get it. All in all, a good movie that ALL people need to chill the hell out over. It's like reading people bitch about how "black" the Black Panther cast is. LOL

I'm a huge Tower fan, and this movie was exactly what I'd thought it be--a poor representation of the books upon which it was based. There are 8 books, and this movie barely scratched the surface by trying to stuff all of them into one sitting, one HOUR and a HALF sitting, at that. With that being said, any fan of sci-fi will probably like it if they can manage to fill in the holes created by the movie. It's not totally bad, and I suppose I should just be happy us Tower fans got SOMETHING after 20 years of a movie "being on the table".
