Atomic Blonde is based on a 2012 Graphic Novel (Coldest Night by Antony Johnston and Sam Hart.) The movie plot follows the source material well. Synopsis of the film is set during the collapse of the Berlin Wall in 1989; where a spy is set out to find a list of double agents that are smuggled into the West. The Plot is simple; and straight forward. I praised the performances from Charlize Theron and James McAvoy; the action sequences are directed and edit well; you could compared a lot of them to the movie John Wick. That shouldn't be a surprise since the Director David Leitch of Atomic Blonde, was an uncredited co-director and Producer of the first John Wick film. The flaw with this movie is the way the narrative plays into the pace of this film, the writing of the film could of been executed better. Overall Atomic Blonde is a high-action pack spy film with twist and turns. The movie may not be everyone's cup of tea; but, I do recommend watching this film once before writing it off. If you are fan of the John Wick Films, James Bond, or Spy Genre in general this movie is for you. I was satisfied with the attempt of the direction and plot which were close to the source material. I would rate this movie a 7.5 out of a 10.

Spider-Man Homecoming is Marvel's first entry of the web-swinger to date. The Movie takes place after the events of CIVIL WAR where the MCU version of the character was introduced. So; if you haven't watched the third installment of Captain America you should look into it. The movie story-line and pace are well executed, and character development on main characters for this movie could of been a little bit better since some of the side characters were a bit of a distraction. My issue here is if Marvel is going to change characters for PC purposes than change it 100%. MArvel tried very hard here to try to win the fans and general audience. The character "MJ" was a useless character in this film. IF studios take all of her parts out of the film it doesn't even effect the film. These are things I noticed watching this for my second time in theaters. But, overall the movie plot and it's villain the Vulture played by Michael Keaton stole the show; the superhero is only as good as the villain. Keaton's ability to prove to the audience that he's an 'obligated villain' who is willing to kill in order to support his family lead spider-man to shine in his titular role when they meet on screen. The two have great on-screen chemistry. There are also a lot of Easter Eggs in this film, foreshadows set-up for future spider-man films; so if you pay attention you may see them. Spider-man Homecoming isn't perfect; but its a great 1st entry for Marvel's future Spider-man films. In my book this movie is right behind "Raimi's SPIDERMAN 2." Overall I would give this movie an 8 out of a 10.

Let me start by saying Werewolf movies are difficult to make because so many have been made in the past, and there's not much you can do unless you have a unique idea or great plot twist. I saw this movie years ago; the movie consist a cast of C-Listed actors who do a decent job in their roles within this film; as the story goes on and builds decent character development the pace gets better for this low-budget "Direct to DVD" flick. The script maybe mediocre but its better than twilight, so if you can watch those films than you shouldn't have a hard time with this flick. I enjoyed the "werewolf beast" character due to the fact the creature talked smack to the victims, and made pop culture references. This was a unique, and a bit on the dark comedy side during some of the absurd scenes. IF you're looking for a a horror flick with a serious undertone, this movie is not for you. You should look into "Wolf" or "Howling" which are superior films with great leading cast. But; if you're looking for a mindless yet dark comedy type of popcorn flick this movie would be a decent watch. I would rate this a 6 out of a 10; because of it's creativity in being low-budge flick.

This autobiographical romantic comedy starring Pakistani Actor Kumail Nanjiani which he wrote with his wife Emily Gordon touches bases on the concept of culture clash, traditions, stereotypes, relationship, & career conflict. The only issue I had with the film was it's slow pace; but than again the realistic writing, & storytelling create a strong character development. So no matter what ethnicity, race, or culture you come from; the movie pokes fun at the things we may see in our daily lives, social media, or even television. This movie may not be for every one, but it's a movie worth a watch. I give this movie a 9 out of a 10.

I felt the advertisements for this movie are misleading. IT should NOT be labelled a HORROR Flick but more along the lines of a Psychological Suspense. The audience expected this to be along the lines of CONJURING or BLAIR WITCH PROJECT that's all due to the misrepresentation on the Trailers. The movie plot is based on a small society that's left due to a contagious outbreak that's has ravaged the world. So the movie uses the same approach one would see in THE WALKING DEAD. The movie also doesn't give closed information on how the outbreak started, and what is "IT" that's lurking in the woods. The movie is about survival and FEAR. Such as when Hurricane Harvey came and there was flood all over the city; how would people react to that, how would people try to survive? would people treat each other fair? would they trust each other? And what would a family do to another if someone was infected with something contagious? These are the elements that create this beautiful psychological thriller. The movie isnt for everyone but it's ELEMENTS that HAVE PLAYED OUT IN REAL LIFE scenarios. If you're looking for monsters watch CONJURING or THE WITCH. If you're looking for a suspense that teaches a LESSONS ON HUMAN SURVIVAL than this is your movie. again its not for everyone, but I liked it. I give it a 7.5 out of 10.

At one point when you're watching this movie it feels like it's part of the MATRIX Universe. Maybe because the talents of Lawrence Fishbourne who also co-stars in JW2. This movie is well written, well-developed, has good cinematography, once again a beautiful OST, brilliant editing and fight choreography. If I was to recommend any movie right now that is a must watch of 2017? JOHN WICK:Chapter 2 would be that film. I give it a 9.5 out of a 10. I loved it.
