"Cocaine Bear" has jokes that range from funny to mediocre, much of it centered on violent slapstick. It's too gory for kids to watch, so be warned. Honestly not as entertaining as people make it out to be, it's pretty amoral humor. It gets a 5/10.
This is one of those films where the main character is a liar and a criminal, and so when bad things start happening to her, one's reaction is not sympathetic, but rather, "that''s what you get for choosing an immoral path". Karma, in other words. The film was fairly entertaining, a Meso-American monster story; perhaps in more ways than one, considering the ending. 5/10.
A mix of suspense, drama, horror, folklore, and weird comedy in this dark film where everybody is either an abuser or a victim. It was certainly entertaining, but the events that transpire are awful. Horror fans will enjoy this, easily a 7/10 for being unique.
Almost all the characters are insane in this dark comedy gore-fest. It's disgusting and stupid but weirdly memorable. Chop-Top, the Vietnam vet hippie with a metal plate in his head, is almost a walking cartoon character. The whole movie is just an excuse to show a macabre and grisly nightmare world inhabited by a cannibal family.
