A great movie from a time when genuine low budget indie films with casts of mostly unknown (at the time) or television actors looking to break into feature films, were actually getting made. The storyline is fast paced with a few surprising twists and dialogue that flows so naturally in parts it's like the actors might be improvising. Like many fans of the movie, I didn't see "GO" in the theater, but as a VHS rental recommended by a friend I worked with at a local mom & pop video store. IMHO "GO" is as good or better than my other indie favorites, such as "Palookaville", "The Linguini Incident", "Kiss Me Guido" and "Empire Records". If that doesn't interest you, the movie has a 20 years younger, buff and mostly shirtless Timothy Olyphant playing a drug dealer who manages to be menacing, flirtatious, and as mellow and philosophical as a Buddhist Monk, almost simultaneously.
