Every copy of this movie I've seen online, including this one, has hard-coded German subtitles in it around the 0:05:04 mark. WTH people...
I'll add my +1 for fixing the audio so the only track isn't the one with commentary. But there are other titles here that aren't even the correct movie when you download them, that people have been commenting about for 4-5 years or more. I'm getting the idea that the actual people who manage this site don't read these comments or they simply don't care about fixing their mistakes. Oh well. There are other sources.
I agree. This is driving me crazy. Even if it's just a DVD rip, I ONLY want to add an original US or UK release to my library that has the Taco Bell references, which include the original un-dubbed dialogue and restaurant logo. It should be possible to find it, right? Unless even US streaming services, like Amazon, now only have the European release version with the Pizza Hut references?
I concur. This definitely isn't the 1994 Rutger Hauer movie, and it looks like this has been wrong for over four years now. This incorrect title has propagated all over the Internet at this point, and I can't find a single HD copy of the correct film. I know it's only one title out of a ton of them, but you'd think they'd take it down rather than keep spreading the wrong title.
The scene beginning around 1:02:12 with French dialogue has Italian subtitles hard-coded into the video. That's not great. If you try to add English subtitles for the French, you'll end up with superimposed text. I had to pause at each line and use Google Translate to figure out what was being said. This bad copy with the hard-coded Italian has propagated all over the Internet. I can't find a single HD version of this movie without it.
