Some extremely pompous and racist attitudes here (white shame), The idea of colonialism being the reason we have survived as humans today is absurd as there are many recorded histories before what we deem as recorded history (white people). It's laughable to think colonialism is the reason the human race has survived. Technological advancement is no excuse for mass genocide of ENTIRE races and cultures. Just because you have more luxurious things does not absolve past evils.
