Hate and Bigotry are an incurable disease that can and should be eradicated by the strictest means by the people who are the victims of the objected parties. Unless one has lived and existed in the skin of those whom these who are depicted in this story, comments such as "stay in your own country", "multicultualism DOE NOT WORK", and other negative comments by passive-aggressive morality so-called experts in this comment section show your miss and uneducated inbreeding.
I flat out love movies with a "CHRISTIAN-BASED" theme! To "filmcritic101", "b8mnr54", and "ThinkingHardHurts" I love your positive comments. To "docfulci", your comment is not only distasteful, the real moral abomination is your satanic- influenced comment based upon your own moral deficiency. If anyone needs to learn and understand the message behind The War Room, I suggest you watch it again. YOU NEED JESUS IN YOUR LIFE.
Trauma, PTSD, and other Psychological Disorders, are nothing to play with, or laugh at. And unless they are adequately addressed by healthcare professionals, those who are tormented by these disorders may take matters into their own hands to ease the pain. Some movies are actually educational, therapeutic, as well as entertaining.
Entitlement is a rapid developing mental disorder that is spreading as fast as the Corona Virus. While this movie displays the disorder in a comical sense, I discern that unless it is addressed and declared by the mental health community, it may not be adequately portrayed until a "Kevin" or "Karen" approaches someone or situation and receive the ultimate end of that behavior for good. WAKE UP "KEVIIN" AND "KEREN"!
I watched this movie and I gave it an honest chance to leave an impression that I could consciously live with. I watched it from beginning to end. My synopsis: A BIG WATSE OF MY TIME! It had a few points that I found quite interesting. It does describe some of the current attitudes that rest in the mind of some "church people" and "church goers" very accurately. However, the point of accurately drawing non-believers to and into the church it leaves a lot to be desired. Yes, I do believe that some of the scenes are intended to be funny, I did not fine=d the movie to rate being called funny, period. The "pastor" was an extremely self-centered and self-absorbed con artist. I do not and would never recommend anyone to download or watch this movie. How it made it to the screen is yet another means of people making fun of something I personally hold very sacred. I have heard some actual faith-based comedians that remain true to the integrity of their faith that would have given a better performance as "the pastor" than the actor chosen to play that role, and would have done so without compromising those who are true followers of the Christian faith.
I normally don't leave comments. I'm not one to make comments or point fingers ...until now. My dear "Tackleberry", it's obvious that you have never experienced the results of racism in any form. Until you do, it is IMPOSSIBLE for you to know and understand the FREEDOM OF EMPOWERMENT BY EMBRACING EVERYTHING THAT IS CULTURALLY AND BIASED, AND QUITE OFTEN, OPRESSIVE AND OFFENSIVE TO PEOPLE OF COLOR. If you know anything of history and culture, you might be more humble and RESPECTFUL to the reasons why Empowered People of Color make it a conscious choice to capitalize "BLACK" while keeping "white" in all lower case. I could and should continue, however I will leave you with this thought: "In the beginning God". And when He created man, he was not white.
