Helm1970

childhood memories, every year around christmas they broadcasted it in Holland and we watched it reiligiously! And still today I revisited this movie several times and it simply holds up! Awesome soundtrack, of course great story, marvelous cast and a decked out stage and costumes! It is not campy, it is seventies motown. The golden age of funk, and I'm all here for it!!

cynical nasty keyboard warrior BS gets upvotes (What is "woke" about a western made in 1997?! yet there they are) but a simple thank you had ZERO?! You are the entitlement generation and it sucks big time! I corrected the 0 into a 1 to offset that diarrhea

I filtered all Bruce Willis movies with a 6 score or higher, the GOAT has 4 pages full of fantastic movies. I am very selective regarding the most recent ones, but this guy has been part of most of us growing up, providing hours and hours of marvelous entertainment. Love that guy! Thanks Maestro!!

To all the haters, be thankful for the fantastic movies this dude has made and give him some slack. He earned it fair and square! Whatyounotgonnado is slacking off his old hits, they are blockbusters in their own right!

Excellent movie. And no it is not gay. It is about grief, and how the main character deals with it. And that professor happens to be gay. Not relevant in and by itself. It is a very intense, beautiful movie with one of my heroes, Colin Firth. That man brings his roles to life almost no other actor really can. If you can shed an adolescent preconception of who should fall in love with who and you can allow yourself to see it for what it is, you will love this movie. Absolutely breathtaking.

@jonjonzz1947 learn your history mate, or stop spreading falsehoods. The dixiecrats changed sides starting mid sixties because they didn't get what they wanted and they have become the staple voterblock to derail any form of social progress in name of the republicans ever since... That said, anything with Nicholas Hoult in it, gets my vote of confidence.
