Thanks for the second part, but please, please release the first one. Always wanted to see one, nowhere to be found in proper quality.

Amazing movie, but seeing cast listed with Sandrine Bonnaire missing was a bit strange.

2021 Wrath of Man is not really a remake of this movie, it's a movie based on the story written by Boukhrief. Absolutely different movies with some shared elements of the story. Worth watching on its own or could be a good companion piece for the newer installment.

Mostly indoor scenes and accent on the dialogues are making this movie extremely hard to watch, because all the actors are speaking simultaneously and frankly about nothing that matters. A glance at the chaotic youth: house parties, non stop smoking, pissing on the street and occasional attempts to study. I have recalled my youth while watching it, but the movie fails to produce any deep feelings. There is a story underneath the visually chaotic events, but it's hard to follow and makes not much sense. This altogether makes this film aesthetically unique, but not interesting. Proceed with caution, hour and a half could be too long.
