A nice, clear, and simple narrative to a fascinating story, filling in so much which most of us would never ave known before. And, although there was such cruelty it wreaked upon the common people, it was good that brutes brought about their own selfish demise. To have seen the clay army when new and still coloured in their fresh paints would have been awsome. And was a treat to see the restoration teams make some coloured replicas based upon the paint traces left on some of the originals. And was nice too, to see a more openess from the chinese professionals involved. However, this isn't so true at all for the commoners

(I know not all of the video is 1970's footage. but some of the interviews are MUCH older than the documentary. Such a shame it wasn't in glowing technicolor and surround sound with ads for the yanks

both the 729 bluray and 1080 only play till around 27 minutes then jump back to beginning on ALL of my media layers, so it ain;t my end that's at fault. And on my phone too. Plus, anyone read the ridiculous review on the right? When they critisize (1970's) Uk production? Poooey! They failt o realise american documentaries SAY NOTHING, and just fill space between ads. Whereas, British ones, prefer to TELL YOU STUFF since BBC do not rely on advertizing within UK, so they don''t have to cow-tow to corporates and owners (but for thosde occasions when the government lean on them, like in war etc). So the americans will porefer their addiction to bells and whistles and mere entertainment, rather than meaningful educational content. What a twalloper.

Absolutely AWFUL. No atmosphere at all, and felt like a cheap TV series pilot gone wrong. It didn't even bother to have an ending. Nothing was beleivable, nothing made any sense whilst it tried to pretend to be clever.

we live in societies buried in the same deep denial as post-war Germany. Where mean--ness becomes the ''christian'' message, outsourcing your own community the norm, where people who have evolved for millions of years to be perfectly at home on this earth sre considered ''homeless'', we need to face up to ALL being personally to blame

@epsilonalphamu, 2024 makes 2024 look like a hi-tech coloured 1950's
