There was far too much talking of a lot of made up science. This paded out a reasonable plot which brought in cyborgs with human brains which they thought were needed to go through the wormhole. This proved unnecessary. The planet coming through the wormhole is a lift from The Event TV show which was cancelled very early. This 'event' would have destroyed the Earth as the Moon and orbit would have been changed catastrophically. A bit less talking heads and a lot more original story would have made this a better film.
