What's going on with the 3D version? it states SBS but it is just normal 2D :(

I think the reason for the shorter length is not due to missing footage, but because of the frame rate. uk dvds (&vhs) run at 25fps(PAL), R1/USA dvds(&vhs) run at 29.97fps(NTSC) but blurays (mostly) run at 23.97/24fps. I remember thinking back in the 80's that my (UK) VHS copy of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was a cut version because it was only 80 minutes.

@Boogie72, the 3D without glasses is called "parallax barrier". I have that technology on a JVC 3D video camera. It's screen uses it but you have to be watching it at the perfect angle i.e. a slight movement of your head and you lose the 3D effect. It is good though. check out JVC GS-TD1.
