When you watching Lav Diaz's long run movies, sometimes you need something like this in between to keep your mind sane..

It's bit a shame but i just imagine what would be if Robert Bresson make an adaptation based on this novel or let say Tarkovsky like what he done on Rublev, probably more fulfiling rather than merely scatterbrained action, Ok this is a good movie, but just not for my cup of tea

???! (yabai), May this movie bring an abundance of blessings and closer to enlightenment on the first day of our holy month.

It's adapted from the original manga that targeted for male demography, there's no doubt the manga version is full of fan services drawing like erotic part of body Kotera-san. It's adapted by legend script anime writer Yoshida Reiko who responsible for anime like Silent Voice, Violet Evergarden, Aria series and some episode of Rorouni Kenshin. It looks like this is the first time when she write the script for live action. Like the previous of her works, this stuff seems more approach romance theme (human relation interest) than original creator intention.
