I miss the old YouTube where people made genuenly interesting videos for fun and were rewarder as people organically found their stuff. There was a lot of creepy, weird, creative and awkward stuff. I loved it back then. Now it's just ads interrupted by more ads.

White army tried to do the genocide in Finland. Their goal was to kill everyone they saw "Red", not only socialists and communists, but also "travelers", "gypsies" and "lower women" (meaning wives of Red soldiers, but also prostitutes, unmarried city women etc.). After Western Europeans told them to stop executing prisoners, they started systematically starving them in death camps not unlike those nazis used for Jews during the holocaust. Had Germany, white army's main ally, not lost the war, they might had succeeded. They even tried to establish a German King to Finland to keep common people in line. After the war the moderate liberal forces ultimatelly prevail, but in 30's these same right-wing radicals tried to have their own revolution to transform Finland into Italian type fascistic dictatorship. Some heroes in this film.

Supposed "animal cruelty" in this movie is really overhyped. They basically just gut the turtle for food, kill one rat and a pig (really good thing to moralize while eating hamburgers). This isn't Cannibal Ferox where they just tortured animals for fun.
