The terrible reviews are based on people's complaints that a show from the 1960s coudlnt possibly be airing in 2019 & one reviewer said: WHY are they killer robots?? NO idea, does it make any sense? not in the slightest? It doesn't have to make sense, you don't need to know 'why' they are robots, it's not REAL LIFE. It doesn't have to make sense. I particularly hate the comment that fans of Five nights at Freddy's will find this to be a pale imitation or rip off. I DON'T SEE HOW. The TV show came first. Also just keeps repeating words weird, stupid" - so we get it, you don't like WEIRD and STUPID okay we get it, you don't like weird things! wah wah wah their childhood memories of their 'beloved' slapstick characters destroyed woooooo boooo hooooo GAG!!!

@vegolis - to YOU maybe. Maybe to ME there's too many 'dramedies' or dramas, or terrible romcoms. I love horror movies, it's my favorite genre, although I watch plenty of action, sci-fi, fantasy, comedy (if they'd make a DECENT one) the classics, great dramas - a standard drama has to be really, really good because otherwise all you're watching are bad actors and boring people do things you're not interested in and nobody even gets killed!!!

i know i saw this movie because i recognize one still shot & I just remember the title, but as hard as I've tried I cannot recall a single scene or scenario from the film. That is a bad sign.

@xitnode (really ZITNOSE?) - Rob Zombie is now and will forever be "cool" and you never were!! @tinotrivino - it's CHARLES Manson, there is no 'james manson' If you're gonna bother to comment, at least look up the name before you type & btw there is nothing about this movie that reminds of Manson. Grow up.

@chuxie - NO!!! "WE" ARE NOT TIRED OF HAUNTS horror genres. WE have never gotten tired of 'haunts' or ghost or paranormal or supernatural or possession or exorcists type movies and WE NEVER WILL !! Just tired of poorly made 'Haunts' movies. Tired of bad acting and stupid lines and IMDB has 5 stars (which can be decent enough for horror rating) and it should have been a 2 (maybe, at best) because people are morons!!!
