@darkhusky88 no, it's not common for the United States to be called "America", and only in English-speaking countries they do it, because you, who are the only ones who call yourself that, imposed it through language. The same goes for the name "americans", only you call yourselves like that. In the Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries you're "Estados Unidos" and "estadounidenses". In the French-speaking ones you're "États-Unis". In the Italian-speaking ones you're "Stati Uniti". In Rusia you are called "Soulless Capitalists". In Japan "Bomb Droppers". In Irak just "Invaders" or "Godless Warmongers". Just because you call yourself that doesn't mean it's right or it's true. The part that you use as name only defines which continent you belong to, you are a country "of America" (of !). You are not "America". And if you are so obsessed with the Mexicans, you can start by recognizing the territory that you stolen from them in 1848. Tu país se llama Estados Unidos or United States, estúpido redneck. América es otra cosa, es un continente inmenso y maravilloso, su nombre viene de un navegador italiano (no yankee) y la mayoría de sus habitantes hablan español, aunque saben otros idiomas, como francés, italiano, portugués e inglés.
