We thank goodness that there is one woman, Maria Ressa, among many others who are not afraid to show to the rest of the world how abusive to human lives, to press freedom, and to democracy in general the Duterte administration is. He says a lot of bad things about the so-called drug industry in the Philippines and yet he freed several big-time druglords (most of them Chinese). Davao City from where Duterte came from is also beleaguered with drugs and no less than his son is supposedly part of the Chinese triad, which is an international drug syndicate with a massive reach. Truth be told, Duterte who is an incompetent leader with zero-knowledge in economics and management is driving the Philippines down to economic quagmire. The economy is down, there is massive unemployment and international debt is all-time high, not to mention the glaring corruption of his allies. But Duterte is still raking very high popularity among the Filipinos which is brought about by its massive use of the social media that fabricates fake news and history distortion. TRUTH BE TOLD.

Wow, never knew there was this musical with the venerable Hugh Jackman.

This movie is considered a racist, for one, because it shows happy negroes serving their white masters. Well, I don't think there were no plantations were the negro slaves were treated well. How about looking at this beautiful cult of a movie as a slice of life of negro slaves treated considerably better hence giving back loyalty to their masters? And if you don't, well, as Rhett Butler would say, "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn!"

This is a very beautiful movie, very heartwarming and soul-moving about family and love. I am from the Philippines but somehow I can say that the Indians and the Filipinos have some similarities in their culture, we're both Asians to begin with. I love this film, please download and watch. Congratulations to the cast and the director and the ones who conceptualize this beautiful movie. God bless you all. I love Indian movies, this movie is in the league of my other favorite Indian movies---3 Idiots, Billu and Dangal. BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL!
