Yes, that's finally true in 2025 @729boris. They have been showing that movie on festivals, called No Other Choices. It's the reason I'm looking at this one. And I also want to see another S-Korean movie called Save the Green Planet! (2003), before I'll watch the remake, Bugonia (2025), even though remakes like Oldboy in the US was not good.

@monroville 'Fatphobia' is the “irrational fear of, aversion to, or discrimination against obesity or people with obesity” What are you talking about? There ain't people out there that hate fat people?

fun movie. I'd had a VHS copy when I was a kid amd rewatched this movie again and again. I'm going to take another look now to see if it aged well.

This movie was very popular in the 80s. Nobody talks about it today.

The political madness in America has even found it's way to ruin the way how so many automatically, and without any thought, think of Woke and human right as something evil.

This is a weird story. As it came out, after this movie was made, that the author, writer, that wrote it, lied and used another person to be her at some readings etc. So, it's not a true story and poor Asia Argento (that later was accused of SAing the child actor) made this movie, thinking it was all based on truth, but it never was.
