I have a great fondness for this 70s screwball comedy. It had just aired for the first time on NBC, and over the end credit sequence, "Are you ready for the summer? Are you ready for the good times?" I heard the dread voiceover for the "Biggest Mini-series event ever." "They came in peace. Are you ready... for the Visitors?" I can remember that whole end sequence with the bed in the middle of the lake and the character hollering for help... "SOMEBODY!!!"
That cover picture has Michael Larson's actor looking like a rejected Rankin-Bass character...
This movie is notable in Hollywood history as the last film that Moe Howard appeared in before his death.
For the very next best version, watch "Moon Over Parador" with Richard Dryfuss
We have a few of these back home. Don't really need another one. Hard, hard, hard, so hard you could poke a hole through a board hard, PASS.
1080p?
