One of the best documentaries(in any genre) EVER made. And the best Documentary about one of the greatest bands in the story of Music, but more importantly...about Kurt Cobain.
Firstable, this one is a must see if you LOVE movies. It's one of those that starts a little bit slow and goes up from there till the end. Great acting by all the cast, specially Angella Bassett who combines hotness and talent in the same package. My only complain would be the direction, and the editing sometimes felt so clunky that the flow felt awkward sometimes. The plot is really good, although a little predictable if you put attention in the beginning. This could have been a 9 out 10 movie if it was directed by someone more experienced, but it wasn't the case so, I'll give it a 8 out of 10 because the last act wrapped it up really well :)
If you REALLY love movies this one it's a must see. Great acting, directing, writing, editing, all in that order. The music is annoying sometimes but I can see that it fits perfectly. In a sea of boring, generic "netflix" type of movies, this one really stand outs as original. 8/10
If you want to know a little bit of Korean history this is the movie for you. Good thriller with great acting. A little bit convoluted in the first act, but it can be followed fairly easy later on. The very ending was a great directing choice and the highlight of the movie. 7/10
It have a B type kind of look in terms of production, and direction; It can be distracting at first and even can put you off because of the whole first act. If you can get past all of it then somehow(don't ask me how) the movie kind of grows on you and turns out to be a little bit entertaining. Dolph Lundgren and Dina Meyer's acting stands out. Lastly, this movie had potential, but it wasn't exploited well. With another director, this could have been a Pop culture kind of movie. 6/10
