If you surf, you will absolutely love this film. It shows you different surf spots around the world that John John Florence and his friends visit. You see gorgeous scenery and amazing places that you may one day want to save up for and visit for a surf trip. And it shows how the waves are in different spots and what maneuvers can be executed in each spot. Now... If you don't surf, you will probably not like this movie. There is a difference between a surfer film or surfer movie versus the usual format for a movie. In the former, the focus is surfing. In the latter, the focus is whatever the theme is of the film and surfing is what the characters are into that give focus to this theme. If you are looking for a story line, character development, a theme, something to learn from and other aspects of the usual movie, then this isn't for you. If you want to watch surfing and you enjoy surfing, then give this a try! :)
