I hate variable aspect ratio. I will try to avoid the films with multiple aspect ratios.

Mistakes and abnormalities! Films are a medium of entertainment. it is basically a story telling perspective of the film makers. I don't find this film wrong. It's a masterclass from the masterclass Ridley Scott. I'm impressed by the visuals and grand scale. If you're annoyed by the historical inaccuracy. Then watch documentaries and docu-dramas.

A much needed 4K would be great.

Know why I hate Nolan? Because he uses IMAX for certain shots and makes the films with variable aspect ratios. I HATE THAT!

I hate variable aspect ratio, distraction for the whole film. To Nolan, if you can't make a full movie with IMAX, don't use it at all.
