Plot summary

During the 1990s, hardworking Mi-soo and optimistic Hyun-woo meet at a bakery and fall in love while exchanging stories on a radio station, but while their paths keep crossing, the timing never seems to work out.

I don't think I've ever seen a movie

I don't think I've ever seen a movie that is so heartbreaking and so heartwarming in equal measure and at the same time. Probably the two most difficult lessons in life are learning that one cannot love another deeper than you love yourself and that love is forgiveness. Kudos to Lee Suk-yeon for writing these lessons into a script. So I'll blame the director for the shortcoming in flow. In spite of the difficulty understanding the story in the first half(, which maybe is cultural?, ) all the pieces come together eventually. The acting and chemistry of the Kim Go-eun and Jung Hae-in is magnificent.

Some odd scenes here...

Sometimes the plot Isn't stringent. In some scenes information for a deeper understanding were missing (what exactly happened in the past?) and sometimes It felt like I just missed a complete scene. But nope I didn't... The conflict between the two lead roles was understandable but not deep enough for my liking.Yes, I loved the chemistry between them two and the story is relatable and sweet, the overall storyline is nice but the implementation wasn't good.You could've get so much more out of the storyline.The acting and the story were great but the director could've done a better job.

BEAUTIFUL & SWEET!!!

And I will try to fix you... Love the way they build a story, beautiful slow grooves that are beautifully packed.
