The special effects for the spaceship at the

The special effects for the spaceship at the start are dire. Even the practical effects are substandard. I actually really appreciated the ‘archive’ footage, I found it cheesy and funny. The music is bad again. Below average acting again, and that’s me being polite. This one is trying to be a comedy which makes it less funny. Also how come the explosions only cause debris to fall on the characters and nowhere else? It takes a long time to see the titular extraterrestrial. The idiotic army guys carried the film, it should have been carried by the Xtro. It’s bad but not good-bad but also not unwatchable. The day-night cycle on this island is bizarre. I quite liked the ending, maybe this one is fractionally better than the second film. Fractionally.
