If you are looking for something to please

If you are looking for something to please your obsession with mad abstract fx, ghosts and spirits flying around, magical 80s stage settings and absurd fighting, this is for you. If you have seen or plan to see Mr Vampire or Zu Warriors and you know that’s your thing, then this will be your thing too. I have no idea what is happening sometimes but these guys make these films for us types of people and do it so satisfyingly.

Ridiculous wire-fun fantasy silliness. Lasers, black magic, killer laughter, flying letters, snake swords, and a western zombie with superpowers and bad English.

This film was a Cinema Diabolica recommendation that I tracked down on DVD because it sounded so wild, and I have to say that even the silly special effects can;t dim the light of this one. It's a helluva fun little martial arts flick, and should be sought out by all fans of the genre. Well worth a look.
