Another sub-par entry in the franchise that at least tries to mix things up with the group fighting pirates but still suffers from lacking Jet Li as the lead. Wenzhou Zhao continues to deliver some fun action sequences but still lacks the charisma of Li. While it is nice to see Rosamund Khan return, it only complicates the plot with an unneeded love triangle, even if it leads to some fun humor from Feihong's father. Behind the camera, Hark Tsui returns and delivers some fun set pieces, though it lacks the political intrigue of the previous films. Overall, a solid watch with he collection but not by itself.
