no dean, no sam, no crowley, no cass? disappointed

Judging from the trailer for this movie, it looks really good. But it also looks incredibly inaccurate. Of course, I can't be sure. I wasn't alive during that time. But from what I understand, the whole point of building the house was because Sarah went and visited an occultist who told her that her deceased daughter and husband were taken by spirits. They promised to let her continue to live if she continued building the house and never stop. So she wasn't building a prison or asylum for them. She was building the house FOR them. As a haven. Not as a prison. She even had a room built in the house called the Conjuring room where she went to speak to the spirits and spend time with them, apparently. They weren't there to harm her...if it's even true.

Good story, Old woman whose family made fortune manufacturing arms, designed every room of her house differently to suit the unrest spirit. Story begins with Dr. Eric Price came to evaluate her, while she was building another room. As it continues things get twisted and twined, in the end Dr Price becomes the one who confronts his own past and finds peace.
