For starters this movie did exactly what it went out to do and that was a boy who was very saddened that his grandfather was dying of cancer and he was very close to him it was hard for him to understand what death was all about understand what God was really about throughout the whole picture he finds what he's looking for how is that bad in any way the movie holds in my book I have a very short attention span so I give it a five because it did exactly what it went out to do

A child's version of theological doubt that asks a cast of actors known for over-the-top performances to turn themselves down to a whisper. So many, "WTF?" laugh out loud moments of confusion the director clearly didn't intend to be funny. A plot-less movie about a kid who doesn't sound like any kid I have ever met. A weird, heavy-handed, pretty bad movie with a cringey final scene that doesn't know what it wants to be. Rosie O'Donnell and Julia Styles are shining redemptions in a sea of bad.
