Similar to Grave of the Fireflies, released maybe both about the same time this in 1986 and the other in 1988. Both harrowing, both superb, but this has a Bowie song of the same title. The 12 inch is amazing, see yt. Bkwsu frfi

Anyone who thinks nuclear weapons is a good idea should see this.

After cancer this is still my biggest fear .I hear yesterday a Dutch Radio Drama of this little frightening story .My first thoughts where :"Yes there are people this naive "Dumb" Still thinking : "It will blow all over" but we caame very close )Watch the film "The Man Who Saved the World "This little film comes in the category as : The Day After "The subject still keeps me busy sometimes .Thank you for uploading .Regards Kenneth John

As someone who grew up in the 70s and 80s, I remember the fear still being around about a nuclear war. A friend introduced me to this film in the 90s and it was freaky. It's how we would fall apart over time.

if im not mistaken, i see these animations on a Roger Waters Album, of the same name !! so is it the soundtrack ?? Heavy Duty,

Wow wow wow. Amazing, smart, sweetly morbid satire. Didn't find it disturbing, though. Nothing traumatic in it.
