Plot summary

A talented chef with gambling woes flees to a Latin American villa to visit an old friend who appears to be living an extraordinary life as a private chef. Envy soon turns to greed and then to something deeply unsettling for the chef when he assumes his friend's life and discovers the motives of his mysterious clients.

Slow Burn, If you enjoyed the (Menu) this moving checks all the boxes and has such a satisfying ending. I'm not going to spoil very much about the movie but if you love Tension thick enough to adjust your heart rate you will enjoy the ride. It was filmed in a manor that made you feel you where im the room forcing you to critically think alone with main character and scream out solutions to help our friend navigate his predicament. There are many times throughout the movie you'll shrug your shoulders and say, I guess I would have done that too, leaving you wanting part 2

What You Wish For is a psychological thriller with an intriguing premise that never fully reaches its potential.
