Plot summary

A coming of age thriller about two 15-year-old girls, Sammy and Emily, who hark from different worlds but strike up a quick and deep friendship. But what should be the best summer of their lives takes an unexpected turn when they become accidental accomplices in a fatal crime.

This movie would have been great but it was not. The acting was great madelyn cline did a great job at acting the story was good but it was so slow paced and boring at some times in the movie. The murder mystery story doesn't even start until the 45 mintute mark. If you are fans of madelyn cline pass this but if you want a murder mystery movie than watch it but outer banks fans just don't watch it

This was a great movie about the limits

This was a great movie about the limits of that oh-so-perfect friendship you think you have. Yes this centers on 2 teenagers, but could easily have been about 2 adults -- the dynamics are the same. I fast forwarded through most of the first half hour, because I have no interest in seeing how a teenage friendship develops -- they're close, I get it, already. After that, there is no murder mystery... i don't know why people are saying there is a mystery. The death is shown right on screen. The only mystery is how these 2 friends will deal with it. It's heartbreaking and... perhaps inevitable. It's also a tragically true commentary on how women and girls are supposed to clean up the messes that men/boys, make.
