It was a C+ Some potential with the

It was a C+ Some potential with the woman and son getting away from bad criminal husband and step dad. But the plot not very interesting, choosing instead to replace it with way too many high speed car chases and shooting. The main plot twist was quite predictable from the start. Several times I struggled to make sense of new scenes, especially the images during the closing credits. Baby?? Is the movie over or is it not done yet? Meh. Not absolutely terrible ... but quite lame.

The plot is nothing new and lacks pop and sizzle, but the action scenes are over-the-top with cinematography that looks shiny and new.

Well, I never considered Luke Evans to be

Well, I never considered Luke Evans to be much of an actor which made me skip this movie a few times. But eventually the title made me give it a go as I had lived in Taiwan for about 2 years (though of that only 2 1/2 months in Taipeh). Thus seeing some of the city views gave me quite some pleasure, and some of the action is quite alright. Unfortunately some of the storyline makes little or no sense at all and the last 10 minutes are beyond ridiculous (with one serious, unforgivable director's goof-up). It is still entertaining to while away those nearly 2 hours. 5 1/2 of 10 points!
