Plot summary

After the 1860s Wild West, a group of misfit settlers - including ex-doctor Phil Taylor, prostitute Belle, and homosexual bookseller Julian - decide they cannot live in their current situation in the west. They hire a grizzled alcoholic wagon master by the name of James Harlow to take them on a journey back to their hometowns in the East.

This is the funniest Western comedies since blazing

This is the funniest Western comedies since blazing saddles. It's John Candy's last film. And definitely one of his best. This is definitely a film that the whole family could watch. It's got comedy, action, adventure & romance. This film is LOL from start to finish. The John Slade character is like a western version of wile e coyote. With his acne products. In spite of all his best efforts to stop the wagon train. He comedically fouls up every time. It's deliciously funny James Harlow's backstory that he was the wagon train Master of the Donner party. This movie will definitely ride off into cinematic comedy history.
