Plot summary

I'm all in for spanish horror but this

I'm all in for spanish horror but this half cooked attempt is so badly written not even a good director could save it. And that's hardly the case here.

Strange Spanish Horror Movie (12,190 – 09 Jan 2026) In Madrid, there is an intense heat wave. An old woman, Rosa, commits suicide jumping off the balcony of her apartment. Her husband Manuel gives signs of dementia, and his son Mario brings him to live in his apartment, against the will of his pregnant wife Lena. However, his teenage daughter Naia agrees to bring her grandfather home. Manuel is a grump old man and becomes aggressive with Lena and Mario. Out of the blue, the elderly people implant a radio receptor device near their hearts to communicate with each other and receive signals related to the heat wave phenomenon threatening Mario’s family, Naia’s boyfriend J and other families. "Viejos", a.k.a. "The Elderly" (2022), is a strange Spanish horror movie by Raúl Cerezo and Fernando González Gómez. The story is awful and the screenplay is not well written. The result is a forgettable and not recommended film. My vote is five. Title (Brazil): "Velhos" ("Old People")
