The acting in this mediocre movie is some of the best. Also, it shows us the most underrated part of the original story - the scientist himself. Whenever we here the word Frankenstein, we think of the monster. When it's actually the shere madness of a man who wants to create life and play god that's the true horror of the original story.

We enjoyed this. Great acting. Also, Daniel Radcliffe looks good with the long hair and clean shave.

Kept avoiding dl this movie. Mainly due to the actors and it being yet another remake of a timeless classic. But it was well portrayed. James McAvoy is more of a brilliant & talented actor than I had realized, especially when comparing him as Professor X. And the overall story itself is written and executed quite well. Best Frankenstein movie ever.

nice sci-fi movie.....

For me, James McAvoy did the best portrayal of Dr. Victor Frankenstein and this movie made me admire the acting abilities of the actor and same with Daniel Radcliffe too. Not only did they give a new perspective to show a most foretold tale, but also they give us a complete package of the story: a dark European setting, an insane but intelligent scientist, a good assistant and a friend and everything else! Two thumbs up for this movie.
