Plot summary

On February 12, 2008, in Oxnard, California, eighth-grade student Brandon McInerney shot his classmate Larry King twice in the back of the head during first period. When Larry died two days later, his murder shocked the nation. Was this a hate crime, one perpetrated by a budding neo-Nazi whose masculinity was threatened by an effeminate gay kid who may have had a crush on him? Or was there even more to it?

One of the worst documentaries I have ever

One of the worst documentaries I have ever watched. There is an extreme amount of disgust towards anyone in the LGBTQ community as well as many blatantly racist statements made throughout the entire thing. I was especially shocked at the amount of excuses made for the shooter and the victim blaming by faculty at the school.

First and foremost I want to inform Viewers that they may be angered by this movie. I was ready to go through the television I was so mad. It's a classic case Of turning the killer into the victim because Of his age! He kills this poor child in cold blood and I don't care what anyone says, he deserved life !!! At the age of 14, You know right from wrong. You know that killing is wrong. It was premeditated and cold blooded. He is a monster and a bully and nothing can convince me otherwise. They made this more about the killer and less about the innocent child that lost his life because he dared To be different. And to all of those jurors and others who wanted to "save Brandon" you all lost your minds !!! Would you still feel that way if it were your child he had shot twice in the back of the head in cold blood ?? No probably not ! And to the teachers who shunned the other teacher for letting him feel ok for being himself, you are also all disgusting. I do not know how they took this and made it more about the killer kid than the victim. That child had a rough life at home, so he felt Like he could finally be himself at school and he gets killed for it ??? It was a hate crime. Any way you look at it. It Made my heart break for Larry because he was the ONLY innocent person in the situation!! This movie shows you how ignorant and closed minded people really are ! And that's what made it rotten. Brandon is NO victim ! He is a killer and he is disgusting along with everyone who supports him !
