Steven Seagal is a ridiculous and awful person

Steven Seagal is a ridiculous and awful person in real life, but I am highly entertained by his movies, even his terrible late-career direct-to-video films. I love them both ironically and unironically. URBAN JUSTICE is probably the best of his direct-to-video action flicks, but that’s a pretty low bar. The story involves Seagal finding the gangbanger who killed his son, but what sets this film apart from most of his terrible direct-to-video films is that Seagal is in almost every scene and actually does a bunch of fighting. I was quite entertained by this terrible movie and recommend it for Seagal fans, but non-Seagal fans should take a pass on pretty much skip all of his late career post-EXIT WOUNDS films (except for his bit part in MACHETE). FUN FACT! Director Don E. Fauntleroy agreed to direct the film on the condition that Steven Seagal would remain on set until he was told he could leave.
