Plot summary

When reporter Veronica Roberts unwillingly gets involved in a hostage situation and is forced to escape, she and Luc Devereaux go into hiding. Meanwhile, Dr. Walker and Mentor get set with a powerful new Universal Soldier and a lethal plan.

Generic and low-budget I am glad the series

Generic and low-budget I am glad the series actually picked up after this, because this is quite bad. It is competently shot, the acting isn't horrible, but the story and casting really lets this down. It just turns into a bargain-bin production and not worth anyone's time. Recasting Jean-Claude is of course a mistake, for a character that was (and will again) be his.

Marginally better than the previous installment as criminals

Marginally better than the previous installment as criminals are now regenerated to make a gold heist. Surely the low for Burt Reynolds, I'm not sure what accent he is doing here.
