If anything the alt/far right is the same as the neocon position: just the right wing of the same Hegelian dialectic bird. It is opposed to true Conservatism, which has limiting principles because it's based on Christian values. Even atheists like James Lindsay and recently even Richard Dawkins have admitted that conservatism is based on Christianity even though they aren't born again themselves.
